Accountabilities A. Financial reporting and Control • Develop and provide a monthly management report on TW manufacturing operation result, • Ensure manufacturing ERP system monthly close accurately and on time, • Identify opportunities for improvement in the operating processes, engage different departments in the development and execution of improvement plans, • Continuously review and enhance ERP system, processes to ensure proper internal controls are in place. B. Product Cost tracking and Analysis • Review and monitor the actual product cost vs budget Standard Cost, • Identify, investigate, explain and analyze the key drivers of manufacturing variance vs budget and forecast, • Understanding the root cause of manufacturing variance, working proactively with operations to establish improvements and remedy unfavorable performance, • Provide product cost visibility to management on a regular basis, • Lead the periodic physical inventory count, make necessary adjustment to reflect true material usages and hence actual product costs, • Review and monitor the inventory balance, includes WIP, to ensure costs are treated correctly. C. Budget and Forecast • Review budget process, simplify the process flow and re-design budget models to ensure accurate and timely completion of budget in an efficient manner, • Lead and coordinate the annual budget process on product Standard Cost for TW manufacturing site, provide budget assumptions and guideline to key operation departments, such as, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc. • Build or modify financial models to ensure accurate and efficient data gathering of budget data from various parties. D. People management • Maintain a safe, secure and productive environment for the team, • Evaluate the performance with the team, • Supervise and provide guidance to the team, • Provide training and knowledge transfer to the team, • Improve finance team efficiency, review the workflow process, eliminate bottleneck, ensure resource allocation appropriately. E. Ad hoc projects • Monitor and progress of cost-saving project – actual cost reduction vs budget, analyze and report the financial implication of cost change resulted from implementation of cost saving project, • Participate in SAP ERP system implementation and upgrade, provide sound professional knowledge on setting up the best practice process on SAP product cost • Ad hoc business studies to help identify business opportunities and formulate business strategies, • Other Ad hoc projects as required.
