Essential Responsibilities : 1. Responsible for leading overall Finance functions of GE Healthcare equipment and services at Hong Kong & Taiwan. 2. Partner with business leader and staff to drive operating performance & act as champion for strategic initiatives within the organization 3. Ownership for developing estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews, Growth Playbook (3year Plan), SII (1-year Plan) 4. Driving profitable growth by providing analysis of results and reporting key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions. 5. Effectively manage/lead/coordinate/develop a team of Financial Analysts and/or Finance Managers determine clear roles & responsibilities, identify and execute development needs to ensure superior finance business support. 6. Work with Controllership & Operational teams to drive profitable growth in the region by providing analysis of results and identifying & tracking key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions. 7. Work with the Controllership and Planning & Analysis teams to define the relevant IT platform and requirements to support analysis, improve data visibility and ensure controllership. 8. Lead cross-functional projects to drive simplification throughout the organization and to improve rigor in key Finance processes, reducing costs & improving profitability. 9. Contribute to improving efficiencies and performance as well as providing quality financial information (e.g. report dashboard and VC/BC productivity). 10. Develop and improve financial processes: Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes, standard Production Cost set ups and analyses, Capital Investment. 11. Assist with management reporting (regional and segment P&L’s) and communicate results to managers. 12. Has a direct impact on business results of GE Healthcare HKTW by making important decisions and/or advising business and functional leaders about Finance related policies, with expertise of difference Finance approaches, methodologies, techniques, and processes. 13. Communicates solutions across own function with impact on other functions. Regularly advises management in the function and/or in the business. Leads sub-business or global/regional teams working on strategic functional initiatives. 14. Responsible for assessing the amount, timing, and predictability of cash-inflows and outflows as the basis for budgeting and business planning. Qualifications/Requirements : • Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 10 years of Finance experience, incl. 5 or more years in people leading roles in multinational companies. • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, with excellent communication skill to deliver message effectively in verbal and writing. Able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner. • Experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions. • Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives while driving controllership/GE Values. • A change adapter and continuous learner, able to quickly grasp new ideas; Knowledge of US GAAP ; Solid PC skills, experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros) Desired Characteristics : • Certified CPA or more than 2 years CPA firm auditing experience; Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma; Finance experience with people leading experience in Healthcare/Pharma industry;Dialogue in Cantonese.
