Your new task - Challenging and forward-looking • You play a lead role in the preparation of project-related Contract & Claim workshops with the project team and in the management of certain correspondence with customers and suppliers. • You support in ensuring effective contract deviation recording, including the relevant claim documentation in consultation with the Site team and project management. • You keep track and validate progress reports from suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure progress and entitlements are correctly documented and recorded. You address any observed deviations with the supplier representatives with support from the Site team where needed. • You have a high focus is on reviewing progress against plans combined with quantitative entitlements. • You are responsible for maintaining superior daily progress reports (DPRs) for SGRE in consultation with Site management which enables claimable entitlements in case of deviations. • You support and in some cases lead the preparation, execution and monitoring of claims negotiations, with key suppliers and client representatives. • You take an active part in risk and opportunity assessments – particular during the construction phase – where you assume the role as commercial interface to key suppliers. • You foster a culture of robust tracking and recording of site activities and contract deviations and assist in preparing and issuance of variation orders. Your qualifications: • You have a successfully completed commercial or technical study. • You have years of professional experience in “on site based” contract management / quantity surveying role and have a strong commercial and contractual mind. • You are a strong communicator who is comfortable in an international environment. • You are structured and organized with good project management skills (processes, standards, milestones and specifications in the plant business) • You are fluent in English spoken and written (legal and business language), Mandarin would be strongly desirable. • You are willing to travel and work within a dynamic, international organization.
