The Site Security Specialist is a high-profile position in the day-to-day operations at Kingston. The Specialist must have strong interpersonal, security, and organizational skills; and be an enthusiastic leader who drives security services among the different groups. Customer service is a key element to this position. The Specialist will be based at Kingston’s Taiwan facility and may travel approximately 10% of the time. The Specialist will be responsible for the daily security operations, CCTV, AC system and contract guarding service at the Taiwan site. The Specialist will also work with business units, contract guard services and facilities group to plan and execute security for facility projects and special events. Responsibilities will include: • Manage the daily security operations, and contract security guarding deployment. • Develop, implement and maintain site-specific security procedures. • Analyze calls for service and incident data to better manage the security operations. • Prepare and maintain security records for the site and complete routine statistical reports. Prepare operations orders as they relate to special events at the site. • In conjunction with Compliance team Investigations, assist in, and in some cases lead, investigations. • Build relationships with business unit representatives, facilities personnel, contract guards and other vendors to understand the environment and special security needs for each business group. • Ensure correct scheduling and quality work performance by the contract guard service. • Frequently assess and adjust the contract guard service by on-site review, and feedback from facilities and the business units to deliver outstanding service on each project. • Respond to and, in conjunction with the contract guard service, provide the proper response to emergency situations. • Survey and recommend security improvements to each assigned business unit. Requires: - Level B(+) technician for Occupational health and Safety management certification preferable. - Recognized OHS qualification including formal training on OHS management. - AEO, ISO, CSR, BCM knowledge preferable. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Analytical thinking and systematic problem solving. - Fluent oral and written skills in Mandarin and English.
