Purpose： Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results under minimal supervision. Records data from testing in standard formats and provides results to product teams. Assists technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing. May recommend changes in testing methods or equipment changes. Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment with printers/copiers and measurement equipment. Assists the manager and provides work direction and technical guidance to team members. Key Responsibilities： 1. Lead product testing activities assisting in product design and improvements by providing guidance to technicians, analysts, and engineers, to include running machine and off-line tests, troubleshoot and correct problems with machines and products, reverse engineer competitive products, use existing and improved testing protocols. 2. Write test protocols and perform machine set-up and complete maintenance. Has responsibility for multiple OEM lines and/or test equipment. 3. Help maintain optimum performance of all test machines to ensure the reliability and validity of testing. 4. Build new tools and devise new measurements to provide solutions and recommend product design changes and assist suppliers in implementing those changes. 5. Record machine condition information and quantitative data. 6. Recommend and perform design of experiment to identify issues and solve problems quickly. 7. Perform final technical review of test results compiled by technicians. Communicate the summary outcome internally and externally to suppliers. 8. Participate in the training, supervision and management of the laboratory technical staff ensuring that proper and thorough tests are completed. 9. Evaluate new materials and technologies from suppliers to determine their application to existing products and to ensure proper testing and qualifications. 10. Participate in developing product quality plans to ensure product specifications are met. 11. Provide and advise on designing appropriate tests and experiments to evaluate products and manufacturing processes to ensure proper testing and evaluation of products. 12. Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives and professional development. 13. Perform other projects, work, and activities as assigned to deliver consistent internal and external customer service.
