• Deeply study of SSD product requirement, SoC design documents, FW design documents, JEDEC spec and NAND behavior and characterization spec, then define the test strategy, develop the test plans for full coverage. • Focus on SSD Frontend validation from FPGA/Emulation stage to Silicon stage, develop test plan for PCIe/NVMe and other frontend related features and modules. • Focus on SSD lower power validation, develop test plan for PCIe/NVMe low power, covering PCIe ASPM/PM, NVMe PSx and OS power strategy, covering SoC power management unit features validation. • Test execution and management per test plan on different hardware platform: Virtual platform, HW emulator, FPGA platform and real SSD drive. Analyzing test results. FW, SoC, HW system issue debugging. • Work closely with FW engineer, AISC design engineer, hardware system design engineer, to solve the tough bugs, then find the solution of SSD product. • Develop and enhance the system validation automation framework, optimize validation methodology to shorten the validation cycle and enhance the validation coverage. • Support architecture and design team for definition of future storage products’ requirements.
