職務信息
Purpose:
Manages and coordinates new product and quality projects directly and with project managers. Works closely with internal teams and suppliers to launch products. Evaluates technical and financial feasibility based on target costs. Works with product marketing to identify new product opportunities, demand and pricing. Works with other departments to establish a design, technology, product development, and vendor strategy. Manages project budgets and prepares financial analysis reports for top management. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify, quantify, and manage the financial targets and project timeline.
2. Launch new products and resolve existing products quality issues working with product testing leaders and quality coordinator.
3. Act as a brand champion by establishing product performance and quality specifications to ensure competitive positioning and product performance goals are met.
4. Evaluate technical aspects of capital expenditures and production methods of new products in development by assisting and in many cases leading the molding/tooling supplier selection, costing, and resourceful product problem resolution to effectively meet budget and cost goals.
5. Contribute to strategic supplier base changes, and monitor activities and capabilities of the entire potential supplier/competitor base to ensure performance and time to promise goals are met.
6. Participate and support organizational planning process by accurately projecting new product timelines and adjusting product/supplier strategies to ensure new product and profitability goals are met.
7. Develop and implement new programs and policies and document and improve current processes to facilitate attainment of growth and operational efficiency goals.
8. Recommend, implement, and monitor strategic and financial objectives for work area to ensure employees’ acceptance, motivation, achievement and celebration of outcomes that meet Katun’s overall objectives and mission.
9. Facilitate the selection, placement of new employees, and guide/coach employees’ work behavior and development to result in a motivated and productive workforce, who have the skills, knowledge and abilities to function effectively to achieve/exceed quality and productivity goals
10. Recommend, implement and monitor, continuous improvement/quality initiatives, policies and processes in order to achieve quality and profitability goals.
11. Performs other projects, work and activities as assigned to deliver consistent internal and external customer service.
