The Role •Ensure the implementation of the strategies of quality and processes to ensure that The corporate quality policy and the charter are promoted throughout the Remanufacturing site. •Monitor the Remanufacturing in house quality targets and measures for the Remanufacturing site and report the performance of the Reman site against the targets. •To manage Remanufactured product quality issues for all product from Remanufacturing site of Service Technology Center. •Monitor the conformance of the Reman quality processes and procedures in the shop floor of the Remanufacturing site to ensure the practice aligns with corporate engineering expertise. •Initiate and lead the continuous improvement in Remanufacturing site. •Provide support to the remanufacturing site by coordinating cross functional activity with relevant company functional teams to drive quality improvement. •Manage the measurement system including gage calibration, gage R&R, and calibrated masters. •Review & Apply the new issued Global Calibration Procedure. (EQE 013) •Audit and monitor if the standard operating procedures are adequate to ensure the quality of the remanufactured product. •To report weekly/monthly Remanufacturing quality to the quality manager of STC. What we expect of you? •Education level A bachelor degree level or above qualification in an Engineering discipline with an appropriate work based quality management. •Relevant Previous experience -Over 3 years’ qualification and experience for quality area. -Quality Statistical knowledge and experience. -Experience of operating internationally. -Able to operate at senior level, including manager level. -Knowledge of mechanical components manufactured in casting, machining, polymer, stamping, press and soldering. •Knowledge areas/Skills -Basic product technical knowledge. -A knowledge of the Semi-conductor business. -A Knowledge of the Measurement system and calibration. -Problem solving methodology. (8D, 5Why., etc) -Ability to interpret the engineering document such as drawing, statistical process control information(Cpk., etc) -Fluent in Microsoft Excel and powerpoint software. •Other requirements -Proficiency of reading and writing in English. -Ability to communicate by listening and speaking in English is preferred. -Project management skills, strong communication skills, organisational awareness and impact and influencing skills in English.
