Job Description As a Site New Product Proliferation (NPP) Owner you will be responsible for oversight of the MFG NPP business process and continual improvement necessary to be best in class. Responsibilities and Tasks - Maintain a common set of business processes for MFG NPP. - Manage upstream deliverables and drive continual improvements to process inputs and triggers. • Collaborate with corporate partner process owners to make MFG NPP best in class. - Authority for and leadership on business process improvement: • Promote worldwide synergy at all appropriate opportunities. • Utilize metrics to monitor and improve MFG NPP. • Look for efficiency gains and improved benchmark performance through joint problem solving. • Mobilize network resources to generate best and integrated solutions • Lead focused improvement activities and projects. • Create necessary systems. - Partner with all MFG site owners to gather and fan out NPP BKMs. - Represent MFG NPP in corporate forums and projects. - Act as primary point of contact for MFG NPP business process - Communication Expectations • Communicate issues which impact NPP in a clear and timely manner and help drive to fix the issue where necessary. • Maintain a strong and open relationship with peer group and managers in other functional areas within Site and outside in areas such as MFG, BU, PIE, Centrial planning, GQ and Product Engineering. • Demonstrate ability to give effective presentations to both small and large groups. • Periodically follow up with manager to ensure all type of goals are met and get assistance to remove obstacles. • Use all available resources to manage the successful completion of goals, including resources outside of the area.
