• Government Regulatory Issues and Employment Law: Understands employment laws and regulations to determine their applicability and impact on Air Products employees. Included in this area is the ability to represent Air Products before a variety of regulatory bodies on issues. Keenly able to manage relations with government agencies. • Recruiting, Staffing and Hiring: Understands the philosophy and practices associated with recruitment, selection and hiring of external candidates, as well with identifying and selecting internal candidates. Advice and counsel of appropriate staffing options and techniques (contingency and search arrangements, etc.) • HR Policies and Practices: Through the understanding of HR policies and practices and their fair and equitable application. Responsible for day-to-day administration of policies and programs covering several or all of the following human resources services: recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, employee services, and industrial relations. 1.
