Failure Analysis Engineers investigate the errors affecting business processes. Essential responsibilities of a Failure Analysis Engineer are identifying the cause of failure, testing and diagnosing products, interviewing users, writing and sharing reports, avoiding the repetition of similar incidents, storing files about failure analysis, and making recommendations. A successful resume sample in the field should mention job assets like business acumen, analytical thinking, database management, computer proficiency, innovation, and problem solving. The ideal candidate for this job should be able to make display of a degree in management or a similar area in their resumes. Responsibility - Perform failure analysis for customer compliant, yield improvement, Qualification failure and new product introduction. Also he/she will be assigned a FA tool to be reponsible for. This include all activities related to the tool including inovation of FA technology using the tool, sustain the tool with good quality, training new commer on the tool, defining SOP and certify users. He/she will also be member of projects like POT ( product ownership transfer) or even lead POT when there is enough experience. - FA engineer will work with multi function organization inclduing product engineering, business lines, Assembly / Fab engineer and Designers. regular English communication and team work is needed. - FA engineer will be trainned on multiple skills including electrical fault localization and Physical fault localization where tools like X-ray, C-SAM, Curve tracer, SEM, TEM, Photon emission microscope and many more tools. - FA engineer have lot of oppotunity to learn new skill and hands on very advanced tools in the lab. He/she will also have oppotunity to work with collegues from all over the world also will be able to involve in interesting cases. During POThave oppotunity to join training session at overseas and visit other FA labs arround the world.
