Gogoro is an ambitious new venture to change the way the world uses energy. Since grabbing international attention with the debut of the SmartscooterTM, Gogoro has developed a first-of-its-kind energy network with couple thousands of battery swap stations, tens of thousands of scooters, and hundreds of thousands of battery packs. These battery packs, though seldom mentioned, are the core of Gogoro’s business, and with their design comes the opportunity to shape the future. Gogoro is seeking an Failure analysis engineer to analysis and debug the problems of these battery packs. Previous battery experience is optional, but exceptional talent is mandatory. You will be responsible for analyzing the cause and classification of battery pack failures, writing a failure determination SOP, establishing a repair method, and pushing your design flow to the RMS and rework lines. You will work with members of the cross-functional design team, the substation maintenance team, the quality assurance team, and the factory rework team. Responsibilities may include: 1.
