- Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin (Chinese). - Good to excellent level of English in written and spoken form; as there will be a high level of communication with supplier. - Very good understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering. - Capable of understanding electrical, pneumatic and fluid flow diagrams - Understanding and safety awareness when handing with hazardous chemical - Experience in wet wafer / panel processing - Very good hands-on mentality and experience in filed service work for at least 5 Years. - Technical / electro-mechanical understanding and capability to carry out on-site modifications on equipment (if needed). - Willingness to travel overseas for training purpose - Willingness to undergo quarantine requirements at certain areas when traveling. - Willingness to travel for long periods e.g. 6 Month to be at customer site for on-site support - Familiar with Microsoft office product platform and 3D CAD file viewer as Adobe Acrobat Reader and SolidWorks / eDrawings viewer - Performs all standard service activities through Tier 1 unassisted. Performs standard Tier 2 with assistance. - Able to perform routine preventative maintenance within established timeframes. Completes quality repairs. - Responds to fab issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls. May participate in projects to reduce costs and increase uptime. - Verifies operational quality of system equipment. Assists senior engineers as needed. - Applies diagnostic techniques and use of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems. Uses training and experience to identify some process, software or hardware related system problems. - Strives to perform BKM’s. Uses knowledge management systems. Follows all IP guidelines. - Assumes responsibility for complete customer satisfaction within work area. Assists in planning, communicating, and coordinating support plans with customer management. - Complies with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrates safety as a value.
